Narooma, NSW Australia
We have spent many weekends in Narooma as it is about a 40 minute drive from our house and is a beautiful town. The walk along the boardwalk is lovely so we do that every visit! Most of the time we will spot stingrays, fish and seals swimming around. Last time we were on the boardwalk it was very entertaining as two seals were having a feed from the local fisherman at the boat ramp. The kids really enjoyed watching 😊 You can ride your bike instead of walking along the board walk but you just need to be careful of others as there is usually few people walking along.
Bar beach is close by and is a great swimming area for the whole family. The water is very flat and there is a shark net for peace of mind. Its a perfect spot to swim in the warmer months!
There are a few good playgrounds around Narooma if you want your kids to let out some energy. You will find one between the board walk and Bar Beach.
If you are looking for somewhere that’s kid friendly for lunch, Club Narooma is an excellent choice! They have an outdoor playground where you can sit and eat and watch the kids play. Most of the time they also have a jumping castle! The food there is excellent too.
There is more to this beautiful town so if you haven’t already, go check it out!
